Heather Anne Thomas (born Heather Anne Thomas) is an American writer, actor and activist. She became famous for playing Jody Banks in the NBC The Fall Guy, an Adventure series. While a kid Thomas was a host on the NBC Television series 'Talking to the Giant.' She then earned a Film and Theatre Degree from ULCA and began guest-starring in TV shows such as 'California fever, Co-Ed Fever, and The Misadventures of Sheriff Lombo. The year was 1981 and she got chosen as the lead character on "The The Fall Guy". The series, which ran for five seasons, was very popular across the United States and also made Thomas the well-known name. She has appeared in many film and TV shows since then. As of 1987, Thomas was her role as the lead in the film made for television 'Ford The Man and the Machine. In the film, she was awarded a Gemini Award for this. Thomas began to focus more on her personal aspects of her life. Eventually, at the age of 28, she decided to that she would not perform any more. She is currently active in various causes in addition to being a scriptwriter and published author.

At the age of 13, she cut her last name, 'Chow', blaming the stereotyping Hollywood industry. The media criticized her for not confirming the fact that she was Chinese. She is currently a Columbia University student studying human rights. Her diverse and unique roles have made her incredibly popular throughout Hollywood. The Hollywood industry also considers her to be a promising actor.
